Gift of Securities
Gifts of Securities are an easy and mutually beneficial way to give to Bern Palliative Care & Bereavement Centre. To get started all you need to do is fill out the Securities Transfer Form available in the link below. Once you take it to your advisor we'll work with them directly and take care of you from there! Your advisor can provide detailed information like the CUSIP and FINS numbers required and can either mail, fax, or scan and email the form to BPCI on your behalf.
All donated securites are sold upon receipt into our account and proceeds may be designated as you wish or towards our greatest areas of need.
Your charitable tax receipt is determined by the closing price on the day we receive the securities in our account. With the exception of proprietary funds and complex transfers, all transfers initiated within 30 days prior to the end of the calendar year shall be receipted in that same calendar year.
